[EN/한] Staying Grounded, and Grateful for Grace

It often takes experiencing a truly difficult situation for us to pause, reflect, and genuinely seek change. Only then do we begin to see things differently—to realize how much we’ve been given and how easy it is to take it all for granted.

I had to face a tough period in my life to fully appreciate just how precious a second chance can be. And I carry with me a deep, lasting gratitude for those who were endlessly generous and kind enough to give me that opportunity.

Without the support of each and every one of them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Their compassion shaped the path I walk now, and their belief in me became the foundation I stand on.

Their grace is something I will never forget. I hope to offer the same to someone else someday. Without arrogance, with humility, and always remembering how it all began — that’s how I intend to move forward.

요즘 자주 제게 다짐합니다. 초심을 잃지 말자고.

지금 주어진 이 기회가 결코 당연한 것이 아님을 알기에, 힘들었던 그 시절을 자주 떠올립니다. 버텨내던 나날과 간절했던 순간, 그리고 손 내밀어주셨던 분들의 따뜻함까지. 한 분 한 분의 너그러움이 없었다면, 지금의 저는 결코 존재하지 않았을 겁니다. 그분들의 마음이 제게는 길이자 등불이 되었고 그 믿음이 있었기에 저는 다시 걸어설 수 있었습니다.

그 너그러움의 느낌을 절대 잊지 않겠습니다.

저도 언젠가 누군가에게 같은 마음을 전할 수 있는 사람이 되고자 합니다. 지금의 자리에 자만하지 않고 늘 배우는 자세로, 겸손하게 그리고 진심을 담아 그렇게 나아가겠습니다.
